About this crossing
Mariposa, on the west side of Nogales, is the modern port of Arizona's largest border city: a huge share of Mexico's fresh produce — the famous winter vegetable and grape seasons — enters the US here on its way to the Interstate 19 corridor. It offers broad facilities with General, Ready Lane and SENTRI vehicle lanes plus a large commercial yard with Standard and FAST lanes. When downtown Deconcini backs up, Mariposa is usually the faster drive.
