The Ambassador Bridge between Windsor, Ontario, and Detroit, Michigan, is the most important commercial crossing on the Canada–US border: an enormous share of bilateral trade rolls over its deck, with the auto industry in the lead role. Alongside the semis run Windsor–Detroit commuters with a NEXUS lane. Its queues live on assembly-plant schedules and just-in-time logistics, which makes the hourly pattern on this page especially useful.
