About this crossing
The Bluewater Bridge links Sarnia, Ontario, with Port Huron, Michigan, where Highway 402 meets Interstates 94 and 69 at the foot of Lake Huron. Its twin spans make it the Ontario–Michigan corridor's second commercial gate after the Ambassador: continuous heavy cargo, a NEXUS lane, and the Great Lakes region's passenger traffic. Holidays on both sides and cottage season set its high-water marks.
