About

About this crossing

The Sumas–Huntingdon crossing ties Abbotsford, in the Fraser Valley, to Sumas, Washington. It is metro Vancouver's eastern gate: passenger traffic from the Highway 11 corridor, regional farm and lumber cargo, and the everyday cross-border run for gas and groceries. It usually plays relief when the Surrey crossings load up, with waits that stay shorter outside long weekends.
